Mahi Mahi Medium

Our Mahi Mahi design came from seeing the beautiful colours of this fish in the flesh on a Cook Islands family holiday. 
Janine has replicated the awesome vibrant colours this fish has with her airbrush painting skills. Folding the different colour tones together really requires lots of patience. As always we like to leave some part of the body silver to show off our grinding technique which makes the fish look like it’s under water by the sweeping motion we incorporate, as you can see along the bottom of the mahi mahi. 
We have formed / shaped this fish to sit proud off the wall giving it the look & feel of swimming and being alive. 
It’s a great piece to check out if you’re wanting to add colour to any space. 
As always cut from 316 marine grade stainless steel and finished in our Jiwa steel style. There are 15 individual steps to bring each Fish to life, including finishing every piece with a clear coat spray to enhance and lock in their deep rich colours along with placing a paua / abalone shell for the eye. 👌 For mounting I have come up with a wide hook included on the back which allows you to hang the fish swimming up, down or straight along your wall depending on how you would like to see your fish swimming.
