Darting Kingi & Snapper school

This piece is really on the move!!
We have used 28 kingfish combined with our 9 barely legal snapper to come up with this, on the moving darting school of fish. 
Goes really well and Creates a sense of movement around areas like a door or window frames and high stud ceilings. 
Starting at the right hand side top corner flowing and widening in the centre to be headed in the same direction on the left and start of the school. 

Our individual “Kingis” are 290mm in length 
Our barely legal Snapper size is 300mm in length 
All cut from 316 marine grade stainless steel ground, rolled and heated to bring them to life. We use our darker colour range along the top of the body/fillet and the middle of the tail. Then the bottom 3 fins are coloured gold, this somehow seems to give the fish more depth to look at. The larger part of the body is left silver which lets the grinding flow come out on display. Colours are achieved with different levels of heat. We use a small flame and lots of patients , this helps us with the control of applying the colour to exactly where we want it. It can be very easy for the colour to bleed out into the rest of the fish. All include paua shell pieces for eyes  This really adds another layer of colour and sparkle. The snapper have scales engraved along their bodies. All pieces are very unique being all hand crafted no two schools are ever the same ……… . Easy to install with a stainless chain on the back, also makes it easy to change the angle/direction of the school once mounted on your wall. Can be made in different colours & sizes.
