7 Kingfish Electric Blue

7 individual kingfish have been included to create this piece, with their individual size being 220mm in length and will swim horizontally across your wall. 

We use our heat treated colour range along the top of the body/fillet and the middle of the tail. Then the bottom 3 fins are coloured gold, this somehow seems to give the fish more depth to look at. The larger part of the body is left silver which lets the grinding flow come out on display. Colours are achieved with different levels of heat. We use a small flame and lots of patients , this helps us with the control of applying the colour to exactly where we want it. It can be very easy for the colour to bleed out into the rest of the body.  

As always cut from 316 marine grade stainless steel and finished in our Jiwa steel style. There are 15 individual steps to bring each Fish to life, including finishing every piece by placing paua / abalone shell for the eyes. 👌
All pieces are very unique being all hand crafted no two are ever the same ……… .  Easy to install with a stainless chain on the back, also makes it easy to change the angle/direction of the school once mounted on your wall.
